James Caruso pulled aside the yellow ``Police Line -- Do Not Cross'' tape, opened the door to the tiny Hudson Valley Community College conference room and ushered his students inside.
As Caruso told them to watch their step, the students took in the scene: two bullet casings on the floor, emptied purse next to it, mug of water next to an open ``Constitutional Law'' textbook. And, against the wall, a woman's body, lying face down, with dried blood on her sweater and two bullet holes in her shoulder.
