All meetings of Mayor Daley's controversial gaming commissionwill be open to the public, the commission's chairman announcedFriday.
Word of the decision was noted at the end of a mayoral pressrelease announcing that a retired advertising executive had beenappointed to fill a vacancy on the nine-member commission.
"In light of the widespread public interest in this issue, allmeetings of the gaming commission and its subcommittees will be opento the public," chairman Nicholas Bua decided, according to therelease.
